My name is Anthony Brown and I am a PHP/Mysql developer with a passion for programming and new technologies.  I focus on WordPress development and sort of worship jQuery. I build responsive websites with smart code!

I don’t take the “It’s a feature not a bug approach” I take the “I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it. – Bill Gates” approach. Because with smart lazy code you can eliminate redundancy!

Education

Worcester Vocational High School
1996 – 1999

I went to Worcester Vocational High School where I studied mechanical engineering using AutoCad. Mechanical Engineering was not for me but certainty opened me up to the world of programming and software.

Experience

DLG Results – PHP Developer
May 2007 – Present

My Current job at DLG Results, I am contracting full time for DLG working on various projects. I started working here developing custom CMS systems but have since migrated mostly to using the WordPress framework. I started developing here when jQuery came out and still use it to this day as one of my main javascript frameworks. I play the lead role in project development, design, building and implementation.

I spent allot of time freelancing different jobs and contracting positions.

Restaurant Biller – Developer
2010 – 2012

Restaurant Biller was developed in response to the incredible number of restaurants wanting to offer online ordering to their customers. Restaurants of all types and sizes are realizing that offering online ordering not only delights their customers, but it can increase their revenue by making it EASY for customers to order from them regularly, and order from them instead of their competitors that don’t have online ordering.

I developed Restaurant Biller as a side project and it took off and got allot of attention, I ended up selling restaurant due to lack of free time and to spend more time with my new born son.

2011 – Present
